The Inter-University Tai Chi Chuan Competition

Hosted By Manchester University Tai Chi Chuan Society

In an endeavour to provide an arena for young Tai Chi players to test their skills Manchester Wudang Group organised the first open inter university Tai Chi Competition. The field was relatively small but very enthusiastic  and there were representatives from Wudang, Lee, Chen and Cheng Man Ching styles.

The competition would not have been possible without the help from the Stockport group, friends from Dublin and Israel  who helped with the general administration, judging and officiating, and also  Steve Slater the referee from kettering. We were all masterfully guided through the day by Dan Docherty
